The Peterstraße in the Komponistenquartier, where museums celebrate the lives of famous composers, is perfect for Instagramers with a love of narrow lanes. Faithful reconstructions of the grand merchant houses of the 17th century have been built here; number 35-37 is the only original one remaining. The perspective in both directions enables very effective photography. The Peterstraße is particularly beautiful in summer, when roses blossom on the facades and geraniums in the window boxes. A detour to the historical Krameramtstuben buildings and the adjacent cultural centre of the Gängeviertel district is also worthwhile.
